Douglas youngsters have a good knowledge of climate change
I was privileged to visit P4/5 at Douglas Primary School this week to talk to them and listen to their views on climate change.
The children have been learning about the climate emergency and they were inspiring in their ideas to reduce their carbon footprints. They asked some tough questions and clearly have a lot of interest in the use of technology, active travel, e-cars, single use plastic and the empowerment of younr people.
As politicians we have to look at the implications of every decision and make changes to ensure that we can hand on a world in better condition to them.
Many thanks to teacher Morag Pitt and the children for allowing me to hear their thoughts.
