Clydesdales MSP Aileen Campbell has welcomed the launch of Scottish Water’s ‘Your Views Count’ initiative and is encouraging her constituents to contribute to it.

Scottish Water is undertaking the customer consultation to help shape the future of water and waste water services in Scotland.

Aileen said:

"Everyone living and working in Scotland depends on a highly reliable and high quality water service - it really is the ‘stuff of life’.

"This is a great opportunity for people in Clydesdale to have their say and help Scottish Water formulate their plans for the next 25 years.

"I know they are particularly interested in the public’s views on future charges and any further services communities would like to see.

"The consultation period runs from now until 12 February 2012 and people can provide their views online at

"The supply of water, particularly in Scotland, is something we all tend to take for granted, however, by contributing to this consultation we have the opportunity to help Scottish Water make the right decisions about one thing we all depend on".
