Clydesdale MSP, Aileen Campbell welcomed Crawforddyke Primary School to the Scottish Parliament on the 15th of March.

During their visit to parliament pupils took in a debate, received a guided tour of the building and met Aileen in the debating chamber to ask questions about her work as a MSP and how parliament operates.

Commenting, Aileen Campbell said:

"It is always a pleasure to welcome local schools to the parliament and I was pleased Crawforddyke Primary School made the trip to Edinburgh so they could learn more about the building and the work of a MSP.

"The pupils have been studying democracy in Scotland and it showed as they had plenty of tough questions for me to answer!

"The parliament is designed to be open and accessible and I am always happy to welcome visitors from Clydesdale to Holyrood.
